On the Air Nets

Any properly licensed radio amateur is invited to check in and participate in the nets. A schedule of our nets (and other club events) is on our calendar located on the left of the page. Note: If the primary and secondary repeaters should fail, nets will meet on 146.460 FM simplex with alternate frequency 146.580 FM. Capital Area Traffic Net
  • Mondays, 2000 local time (8:00p)
  • 146.460+ (1,000 kHz offset, tone 67.0 Hz) with alternate 145.430- (67.0 Hz)
The CATN handles formal written traffic and promotes training in traffic handling for the Capitol area. If you're new to the National Traffic System (NTS), check in to let us know you're around or to ask a question and then listen to the other operators exchange traffic. SMRA Club Net

There is no roll call for our net--any radio amateur is invited to check in and comment at the direction of Net Control. Morse Code Net SMRA has several elmers who want to help you learn morse code.  Please check in and participate.
